Sugar arrived from the county fair in 2016 when our two younger children participated in a rabbit scramble. Sugar, a white New Zealand, had some learning to do. Bred as a meat rabbit, she was not handled much prior to being donated to the county fair for the scramble. She has learned people are okay, but due to her size, our son struggles to hold her to move her around and flip her. She is quite large (normal for a New Zealand) but has become pretty sweet on people as long as you aren’t picking her up.
Buddy arrived from the county fair in 2016 when our two younger children participated in a rabbit scramble. Of course our petite, youngest child ran straight for the smallest bunny in the ring, Buddy. Buddy, a Netherland Dwarf, is the sweetest bunny and loves to just hang out in your arms. He is easy to flip and show.
